last night I had a five (5) year high school reunion. yeah, five years is pathetic, but so was my high school. Near as I could tell, it was an exercise in deconstructionism. conversational models and idioms were lost in a sea of insanity. Derrida would have been proud. or alternatively people I don't like were drunk.
anyway, because logic stopped applying, I started subverting. I took a magic marker and drew a wedding band on my finger to mess with people. I got the ex-prom queen good with that one. then I started screaming random things. Samples below
"God is a Canadian"
"I'm more beautiful now than I'll ever be"
"the twenty-first century is a strange time"
"I want to make love to the future"
and so on
we did rock the party. I don't party much, but when I do, and I'm with my mates, we rock hardcore.
to that end, here's some les savy fav. they rock the party too. I love the way that message comes across, through sheer brutality of punk rock, with the hip hop party vibe. it's so primal...
les savy fav - who rocks the party?
believe it or not, I'm that dumb when I'm sober.
